The Full Story

Woodspirit is a food truck, started by two Turkish chefs who traveled the world for years in a culinary adventure and finally ended up in beautiful New Zealand.  


Our concept is a mobile wood fired oven, where we bake and serve artisan Turkish Pide from scratch. It's a thin sourdough crust, topped with fresh local seasonal produce, mozzarella, Turkish chorizo, feta, halloumi etc. the options are endless. It's served hot straight out of the oven. It's an authentic product that we like so much, we decided to build a mobile wood fired concept to introduce it to New Zealand food lovers. There are vegan options as well.

Since 2020 we attended many street events, festivals, caterings, school events, corporate and private events. Your positive feedback keeps our fire going.
